Encouraged to attend our Open House on April 28th at Eckerd College. This 2-hour event is exclusively for our NexGen Players genuinely interested in learning beach volleyball but possess minimal to no experience.
NexGen offers 3 divisions.
- Dynamites: Ages 8-10 year old
- Beginners: Ages 10-13 year old
- X-Lerators: Ages 13-15 year olds (For players interested in joining our Beach Club but require additional time to acquire the skills needed to train and compete alongside our club members

Beach volleyball is not only one of the best ways to cross-train for indoor volleyball, but now that it is recognized as the fastest growing NCAA sport, girls are turning to beach as a primary sport. Whether you are a dedicated beach player or looking to improve your game for indoor, Optimum offers players as young as 8 years old a fun and engaging environment where you can gain fundamental skills, muscle endurance, speed, agility, confidence and court knowledge.
More importantly, these improvements are transferrable to hard court, making beach a very attractive alternative for conditioning indoor volleyball players.

NEW FOR SPRING 2024
Tailored for children aged 7-10, this program teaches youngsters the fundamentals of beach volleyball. Participants will learn how to navigate in the sand, master ball passing, and experience the joy of teaming up with fellow players through engaging play and kid-activities!
We know it’s all about touches on the ball… so we reduce the size of the court so they can begin learning to play 2v2, we don’t believe kids should wait in line to learn…so we keep it fun and entertaining!
